Rules – Ball Parks of America – Branson, MO

• Entry
  $380 – cash/Sponsor check (sponsor check MUST have business name – make out to KO Sports
  There will a $10 charge EVERY electronic payment (Venmo/PayPal/CashApp)
  Please collect all money and pay BEFORE first game
  A director will be located inside the complex, in the Double Play Cafe, for entry payment and bands
• 50 minute time limit on all games
• .5 run to the visiting team – excluding Championship game
• 3 run spot per division
• Paper rosters will be accepted. Please fill with all players. Rosters need to be turned in BEFORE first game. Rosters will not be provided. Each manager is responsible for providing and turning in rosters. If a paper roster is not turned in before your first game and you do not have a valid online roster and you are protested – automatic team forfeit.
• Legal 240 bats are required. If a pitched ball is contacted by an illegal bat – dead ball, batter is out. No Senior bats.
• Any sanctioned ball may be used ~ must be under .44 core/.400 compression. Pink balls will be permitted up until the 3p.
• 1 courtesy runner per inning (must be on the roster) – pitchers get automatic mandatory runner (must be on the roster, can not be same person who was the courtesy runner and can not be the pitcher).

Home Runs

• Mixed 6/4
  Any home run hit without a band will be an automatic out
  10 home runs per inning
  Once home run limit is met, any home run will be a single
• Womens
  Any home run hit without a band will be an automatic out
  10 home runs per inning
  Once home run limit is met, any home run will be a single
• Mens
  Any home run hit without a band will be an automatic out
  10 home runs per inning
  Once home run limit is met, any home run will be a single

• Each team can buy unlimited home run bands for $10, which will be assigned to that player for the entire tournament – band must be worn anywhere on the player, not in your pocket. Any home run hit without a band, it is an automatic out.

Inning Run Limit

• 15 total runs per inning, per team
• LAST INNING ONLY – 20 runs; 10 HR – any homerun hit after limit is a single
• Pitching screens will be available for use, they will be optional. If using the screen, the pitcher can not play the ball – will be a dead ball and runners automatically advance if pitchers field the ball in play. If the batter hits the screen, it is considered a foul ball. BPOA has asked TWO people LIFT to move the screen to avoid damage to the turf.

Spreads

• 20 after 3; 15 after 4; 15 after 5

Please be at your field 30 minutes before game time – if not and fields are ahead of time, your team is in jeopardy of a forfeit.

Complex Rules

• No one, under any circumstances, is permitted to be on the roofs to retrieve balls. There will be staff getting balls periodically throughout the tournament and bringing them to the directors. We will have them all in a bucket for teams to claim. Please be sure to write your team name or have some sort of identification.
• Outside food and alcohol is prohibited. There will be a security guard on the premises enforcing this policy. Alcohol sales (canned beer and seltzers – 12oz/16 oz cans) will be available at the Double Play Cafe. Double Play Cafe will be doing a food specials throughout the day. They will only be accepting cards, no cash.
• Smoking is permitted inside the complex. Shelled seeds and chewing tobacco are not permitted on the fields or in the dugouts. If you are caught with shelled seeds, smoking and/or chewing, it will be an automatic team forfeit. Please go to the parking lots or designated areas to smoke. This is your warning ~ please refer to the MW USSSA turf field policy, which went into effect April 11, 2022.
• Restrooms will be inside with the Double Play Cafe, batting cages, and by Brooklyn/Boston, others closed due to winterization purposes. Please plan accordingly.
• Dogs are allowed on leashes. Please be respectful and clean up after them.
• PLEASE clean up after yourselves. If you see random trash in the dugouts, parking lots, along the sidewalks, etc., please be courteous and pick it up ~ even if it is not not yours. I ask everyone be respectful of their no outside alcohol/tobacco policy and do not trash the complex. Future tournaments are pending based on this tournament.
